Elevate Outdoor Lighting with Globe Lights

Globe Lights, a very general description of a light. Is a globe light a round light bulb, light strand with small round bulbs in the sockets, or a strand of lights with sockets with a bulb and has a globe covering the socket and bulb. Well, it can be all three. But let’s talk about the last option. A strand with sockets and bulbs covered by a globe.

We carry this type of globe light in a 6 or 10 globe light strand. These strands come in a white or black 16 gauge wire that either coiled or is straight wiring. Custom lengths are available. The coiled strand expands to 30 inches easily so you can adjust how wide a spacing you want on the coiled strand. The male plug on these strands is grounded or you can direct wire the strands into an approved electrical box.

The acrylic globe cover is 6 inches in diameter and comes in various standard color of clear, white, red, green, blue, orange, yellow and purple. Design of the globe is smooth (most popular), Prismatic (vertical ridges) and striped (horizontal ridges). The acrylic globe comes frosted, transparent and in a Bronze color. Note: We also carry the globe cover in a frosted Christmas bulb style. They are exchangeable with the 6 inch globes.

The sockets are ceramic Edison style in a medium base. This is a quality socket that is protected from the elements by the globe cover to give extended life to the bulb and socket. A maximum wattage is 25 watts which is quite sufficient to accent and party lighting. The globes make the color so any medium based clear bulb will work.

What would you use these globe lights for? I believe they are a great alternative to a standard commercial grade light strand when you are looking to light up a large outdoor seating area like an outside seating area for a restaurant of bar. You can change the colors of the globes and you can custom order lengths to fit your area. They are great for outside lighting for pool and deck areas. Do you have a camper?
